IF i can join a custom match without a message about the game already starting or canceled and avoid the endless connecting message, i will often get kicked b/c i see one or more nils next to a player.

i'm told that i need to open up 6112 to remedy this. the owner of the router will not give me the password and even suggests that it may be blocked by the isp, comcast.

is there any way i can handle port 6112 info with software or anything and avoid the router and maybe any comcast policy?
the router is a Linksys WRT54G.
