I also do believe that they are going to try hard for FA and I'm not sure but I think I remember someone talking about a beta. I really hope they get it right because it could be their last chance to attract some real competition.
While the mercy may not make Aeon OP I still think it is an OP unit on it's own. As you say, attacking air is just stupid; it should never of happened. Flying through flak with a bit of micro shouldn't be possible either considering the insane damage that just one mercy can do.
I think my main gripe with the mercy is that it discourages expansion even more. Even if mex get fixed so that actually having a tier 2 mex outside your base is useful the mercy will just make it useless again because of the lengths you need to go through to protect it.
