Default Review structure.

I just read (and watched) the review of the Ftang vs RS_Gollum game and a thought occured to me, bear with me while I explan.

Back when I played BFME2, replay reviewers used a very structured format, to make reviews quick to read, to the point, and helpful to the players themselves.

the format went something like as follows (excuse the shoddy BB code I'm not good at this)

NOTE: This is not a review of the actual game, tis a figment of my imagination, for the purposes of example.

Player X VS Player Y
MAP NAME

:::::INSERT SCREENSHOT HERE::::

Player X

(Initial)Build Order: (example) 2xGen, Land, Mex, 2xGen, 2xMex, Air, Mex, Land

[+] Quickly secured the right flank.

[+] Good scouting/harass (killed 2 engineers)

[+] Quick move to Air (had bombers before Y had anything!)

[-] Late T2/T3 (you hung on with t1 tanks too long)

[-] Lack of unit variation (some mob arty would have done you a lot of good)

[-] Poor defence of ACU.

Overall 2.5/5

Try to keep conscious of easy ways to win the game, twice you had his ACU out in the open but you didn't push for the win, favouring instead more traditional attacks. More decisive use of bombers could have ended this game, good play none-the-less.

Player Y

(Initial) Build Order: Mex, 2xGen, Land, Mex, Land, Gen, Mex

[+]Great teching!, (T3 Land in 15min!)

[+] Good use of TMLs.

[+] Kept your cool when boxed in.

[-] Poor use of ACU early, (Didn't fight for the map)

[-] Generally slow start, think about changing your build to expand faster.

[-]Air, what Air?

Overall 3/5

You got lucky here, this game might have been a very different story if he hadn't forgotten something vital. You should have been working on Air superiority as soon as the battlelines got drawn up (which was quite early here). Try to be more agressive early on, fight for those outer mexes, they're worth it!

Sum-up

:::SPOILER:::
A pretty GG. Once the lines get drawn up there isn't an awaful lot of action for about 10min, lots of dodging around but little full-on engagement. It was always going to be a race to T3, ironically the winner of the race lost the game. Just as those bots are on the move a pair of TMs hit his ACU and it's GG.

For the twist at the end this game gets a 3/5 from me.
