ive noticed that rhinos are quite good. also ive noticed theyre weak on maps with many hills. their laser cant go above a hill so it hits ground.
imo the best options on hill maps are:
dont build rhinos
OR
try to move them ON a hills so they can shoot enemy. if theyre under them they hit ground as i said.

BUT
is there any other option?

The cartographic view was invented with this in mind I believe, press "y" during a game and have a fiddle, it's all very interesting...
