Game puases

Every 10-15 minutes game time, it pauses for a couple of seconds. Is this an "autosave"? Because if it is how do i get the save file, or turn it off?

If not, i assume its a hardware problem, ie not good enough. So what do you suggest i upgrade? Money is very limited as i'm a student.

AMD 64 3200 venice
GeForce 6600GT 256MB
1GB (2x512) PC3200 (Motherboard can handle 4GB, but nothing faster than PC3200)

If none of the above components, then what??

Try turning auto save if you have it on indeed. after that do the test again and if you still have the problem then i think that we can conclude that it is an hardware problem.

Did you try the SupcomMark benchmark? what's your score?

Think its time for an upgrade?

well looking at my options, i can buy better of almost everything, but the best stuff isnt compatiable with what i have already. ie am2 processer in 939 board wont work. DDR2 in DDR dont work. So you have to buy these 3 parts all at once.

My birthday is in 3 weeks, so might be able to get it all then, but can i wait that long?
