I am curious if people have noticed the competition getting stronger. A few days ago, three stars (2000 rating) was roughly the top 80, currently its 105. I coasted to the top 200, but find myself running into much tougher opponents, including people of much lower rank putting up better fights. I have been floating back and forth between 100 and 200 the last few days. Though, this was partly to me trying a completely new strategy which I have since tossed away.

Have you tried out Poita's PD rush tactic yet?

I always plan on doing it but end up forgetting about it

Eh, more people at 2000 doesn't mean better imo. All it means is people are playing and ELO is gradually balancing out. However, people are getting better.

If the Poita strat you're talking about is the engie drop, I'd advise never doing it against uef. =P

Range of PD and mobile artillery is the same, dps of PD is higher. Why would they own them, please explain it because I obviously am completely not getting it

Because all you need is for 2 or 3 arties arriving at max PD range and shooting. Even if PD kills them before next shot, the PD dies.

1 Lobo shot before you get PD up will pop all your engies, if you get a PD up 2 lobo shots will kill it insantly. Yes, they'll die but cost to you is much higher.

Even if you kill a few things, odds are he can get 2 lobos out fast. 2 lobos are insanely cheaper than transport, 3-6 engineers + pd build cost.
