Hi all,
i'd played UEF for a while now and i think T3 AA sucks. Why is there so many differences between UEF T3 AA and the other factions T3 AA. Cybran T3 AA : Nanite Missile System (Anti Air, Normal): 137.14 damage per second, range: 0 (0.0m) - 60 (1.17km) dps / cost: 0.081, combat rating[1]: 585.5, combat rating / cost[2]: 0.344 projectile physics: armor: , acceleration: 5 (97.7m/s2), max speed: 35 (684m/s), lifetime: 3s projectile: 24 damage, muzzle velocity[3]: 25 (488m/s) fire cycle: 4 projectiles every 0.7 second(s) = 0.7 second(s) total, 96 damage total turret pitch: 25° ±40° (180°/s), turret yaw: 0° ±180° (180°/s) Aeon T3 AA : Zealot AA Missile (Anti Air, Normal): 100.00 damage per second, range: 0 (0.0m) - 60 (1.17km) dps / cost: 0.059, combat rating[1]: 547.7, combat rating / cost[2]: 0.322 projectile physics: armor: , acceleration: 5 (97.7m/s2), max speed: 35 (684m/s), lifetime: 10s projectile: 40 damage, muzzle velocity[3]: 25 (488m/s) fire cycle: 2 times 1 projectile every 0.3 second(s) + 0.5 second(s) reload = 0.8 second(s) total, 80 damage total turret pitch: 25° ±80° (180°/s), turret yaw: 0° ±360° (180°/s) UEF T3 AA : Flayer SAM Launcher (Anti Air, Normal): 96.00 damage per second, range: 0 (0.0m) - 60 (1.17km) dps / cost: 0.056, combat rating[1]: 513.8, combat rating / cost[2]: 0.302 projectile physics: armor: , acceleration: 2.5 (48.8m/s2), max speed: 30 (586m/s), lifetime: 4s projectile: 40 damage, muzzle velocity[3]: 15 (293m/s) fire cycle: 6 times 1 projectile every 0.3 second(s) + 1.0 second(s) reload = 2.5 second(s) total, 240 damage total turret pitch: 25° ±80° (180°/s), turret yaw: 0° ±180° (180°/s) Stats are explicit, the velocity and speed of the UEF T3 AA rockets are half of Cybs and Aeon UEF T3 AA should be balanced. Hi Funk,
i played Aeon and Cybs for a while now and i think the difference is realy handicapping. Obviously i addapt, but the economic effort is bigger than spamming T3 AA. That's why i think it's unbalanced. A lot more reply on GPG => GPGnet :: View topic - GPG team - UEF T3 AA must be reviewed |

Yes i use them and it's quite efficient...
Planes circling in front of the base with some air staging is quite efficient too, there's always a way to counter these kind of attacks. But the effort is bigger... I'm aware that UEF are much more competitiv now, and it's not quite often that you may face a T3 air bombing (thx to the last "major" patch). Nevertheless i hope there will be a little tweaking in the future =) |
