Only started playing recently so yeah I'm nubish but been practicing up against supreme ai (yeah I know it's a piece of.. but the Sorian was a bit tough for me last time).

Getting to the point where I can beat it pretty consistently now with a few mistakes still. The only thing is that, no matter my map control I seem to always fall short on generated resources vs the AI. Is the just a case that it's the easiest function for an AI to perform or is it me just sucking out - not taking/rebuilding the extractors quick enough or not upgrading at the right times? I appreciate it's not a straightforward question to answer never having seen me play but I wouldn't bore you with my low level replays

It's more a question of should I be out eco-ing the AI as well as out muscling it before I move back upto the sorian ai

Edit - Probably more relevant now I just beat the sorian ai for the first time w00t :P Wasn't very pretty and had to rely a bit much on T1 point defence to fight off the rush but just happy to progress

I played a couple of games a quick one where I got a hammering from the sorian AI:

The other one is where I played the supreme AI and everything seemed to be ok I think even my eco was better this game, not sure if it was because I upgraded more extractors or something or just that I took the map early:
