You have MEx's and energy. Now you need lots of units to beat the crap out of the enemy commander. To make units be built faster, you can assign engineers to factories. This is cheaper than just spamming out factories.
However, if you depend completely on engineers to speed up unit production, then you will notice that the unit comes out in seconds, but the factory will stop until the new unit pulls away. Also, your mass will go up and down, e reaaso mass will be wasted, or your unit production will go at snail's pace. If you want to do a rush strategy, then it would be best to spam out factories, because the low level units are the ones that cause the problem of taking seconds to build, but take a long time to come out. However, for naval factories, I usually just build two factories, and have one building battleships, and the other building destroyers and cruisers. The reason to this is that ships take relatively a long time to build. The reason for two is that ships take a long time to build, and just a few battleships is a huge amount. They use a constant amount of mass and energy also. However, you need to make sure that your engineers don't get in the way of the battleships. It has been a pain in the ass to get a ship out from behind sams, eng's, and torpedo launchers used for protecting the factories. For air factories, the planes pop out quickly, so they use a constant amount of resources, but if you want a lot, then it would be best to get a few air factories. Just something I have noticed from playing and wanted to share. |
