Hamachi servers!

Ok, guys!

There's been a little problem since the latest 2 patches on Supreme Commander.
GPGnet is one of the main reasons people get desynced and crash.
A fix is not yet been made but I know that playing on Hamachi drastically reduces the amount of desyncs and crashes.

My Hamachi server is:
SupCom Games!

The password is:
join

Everybody post theirs or join mine.
Once a 16 player limit has been breached ill create a second hamachi server!

Never heard of any other servers, i'll check it out.

Rank still count there?

Actually, No!

Hamachi is a program that will create a virtual LAN connection between the users logged into the server. So you can play the game in the lan sections.

Hamachi effectivness varies. Back in BFME2, we used it when the online system wouldn't let two of us connect ( a regular occurance). Sometimes hamachi was fine, but occasionally it was a nightmare, constant discons/timeouts, but this is not bfme2, so I imagine things will run differently.

I've had problems with the older versions of Hamachi myself. Instable connection just like Leaf just said. Sometimes freezing up.
I've been using this latest version for several months now and NONE of that has occured in more than 15 games.
Hamachi will help you play Hamachi games up to 8 players with way less disconnections, crashes and desyncs!

Untill the fix for gpgnet arrives that's about the only option I can think of.

The devs says hamachi screws up supcom and really, really advice NOT to install it!

However there is an other intresting thing about hamachi. GPGnet connects through hamachi. So if you know you cant connect to someone, get both in the same channel of hamachi, then go online and play OTHER people NOT in hamachi with perfect pings!!

But again, the devs really advice not use hamachi with supcom..
