I don't like to admit it but I definitely think that the overall supcom community is shrinking. Gpgnet stats are the proof

I don't know but I reckon we need at list 20k active players and at least 5k online players at pick time.

Thats wrong. We have VERY active tourneys theese days (due to the beta keys). There are popular quadv casts and halcyon is pretty full.

You right about this page but that was not my point.
I used to maintain GPGnet stats and even posted few articles about it.

I agree that their is a good dynamism with the beta tourney and Quadv shoutcast/videocast, but I am more looking at the whole picture. Like for like the GPGnet population at any point of time is decreasing month on month.

Good thing I agree is that the people that are there are at least quite active.

I wanted to keep making the weekly 1v1 ladder analysis but for the past few week nothing has really changed.
More generally speaking, I'd be keen to start hosting some events again here, just looking for people to give some help...
